When you book your pool or TENS hire you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

ALL BIRTH POOL HIRES have a $50 refundable deposit payable at the time of hiring included in the advertised price. This will be refunded back upon return of birth pool package in clean and complete condition.

All HIRE items are to be returned, by the customer to the pick up address, unless otherwise discussed. 

ALL HIRE items are to be returned by the end of agreed hire period.

ALL HIRE items (except unused liner in original sealed packaging) are NON REFUNDABLE if not used during hire period. 

If the customer is birthing without the support/guidance of a registered health professional ie. Registered Midwife, Obstetrician etc, Immerse in Birth shall not be responsible for any damages whatsoever. This includes any injury, loss or death, (either physical, emotional or financial) during the set up, pack down or use of birth pool

Immerse in Birth encourages the customer to discuss the use of a birthing pool in labour and birth with the practitioner providing their care, and determine its safety/suitability for their individual circumstances.

You will read all the equipment booklets before use, and use them only as the instructions say.

TENS HIRE TERMS

Your Elle TENS+ machine will come with everything you need to use it, including four electrode pads, lead wires and fresh batteries. It is the customers responsibility to return all items provided for hire, (the electrodes and batteries are yours to keep, unless you are seeking a refund).

Please familiarise yourself with your Elle TENS+ machine and let us know if you have any questions or concerns (prior to labour where possible) as we may not always be able to get back to you immediately.

Instructions for using your Elle TENS+ machine will be provided with your hire.

You must not use a Elle TENS+ machine before 37 weeks of pregnancy, over the abdomen or on the head, near water or in the vicinity of children. You must not use a Elle TENS machine if you have a pacemaker, heart disease or epilepsy. Our liability shall never exceed the hire fee paid by you.

Please check with your registered care provider to ensure that using a Elle TENS+ machine is right/safe for you. You should only use your Elle TENS+ machine under advice and guidance from your care provider.

It is your responsibility to ensure that the hire product is returned with all accessories provided (except used pads )

If your hire product is returned to us damaged by accident or misuse, you will be liable for the repair or replacement costs (less any hire fees already paid). If the hire product is lost or stolen, you will need to reimburse us for the full cost of the unit and accessories (less any hire fees already paid).

The cost of hire for the TENS Machines $60 for a period of 6 weeks. Items not returned within the  weeks without the prior consent of Immerse in Birth may result in additional hire cost of $10 per week. In circumstances where baby has not made their appearance at the end of the allocated hire period we will attempt to allow a grace period, however this is dependant on other bookings, and if the kit is available.

The hire fee is NOT REFUNDABLE once collected even if the product is unused.

If we are notified prior to 37 weeks we will refund the amount paid for hire, less a $10 administration fee. Please give us as much notice as you can to allow us to advertise and fill vacancies.

If Elle TENS+ is returned damaged beyond repair the full replacement will be charged to your nominated credit card below for the amount of $235.00 minus your hire fee.

The Electrode Pads are included in the cost of the hire of the TENS machines, the pads are NOT refundable even if returned unused/unopened.

BIRTH POOL HIRE TERMS

If Pool is returned damaged beyond repair or has damage resulting from the misuse of the birth pool, the full cost of replacement will be charged to your nominated credit card for the amount of $580.00 minus the $270 fee already paid.

In the event the pool is returned damaged requiring repairs and/or hasn't been cleaned the $50 security deposit will not be refunded.

In the unfortunate event that you are unable to use your birth pool hire once collected the hire fee is non-refundable. If the birth pool LINER is returned unused, and in its original sealed packaging, $50 will be refunded to the customer.

In the unfortunate event that you are unable to use your birth pool hire and we are notified prior to 37 weeks we will refund the amount paid for hire, less a $10 administration fee. Please give us as much notice as you can to allow us to advertise and fill vacancies.

 If the customer has failed to return or contact Immerse in Birth  two weeks after the hire period, the customer WILL be charged, $851 for the birth pool and equipment, minus the $270 fee already paid

Contents of hire package include Pool, liner, air pump, fill and drain hose, hose bags, tap fittings, submersible water pump, carry bag and storage tub.

Submersible water pump must NOT be used until pool is finished with. This is a dirty water pump and unable to be cleaned to a standard to prevent cross contamination. If you use this and re-enter the pool, you will be subjecting mother and baby to contamination.

The customer accepts responsibility for all risk from any use of the birth pool and equipment provided.

The birth pool will only be used according to the instructions provided. Immerse in Birth shall not be held responsible or liable for any injury or damage sustained as a result of using the birth pool. 

The birth pool is NOT to be used without disposable liner provided.

Used disposable liner is to be thrown out by the customer.

You are required to disinfect the drain hose and submersible dirty water pump with the hospital grade disinfectant provided, following the instructions provided.

RETAIL/STORE TERMS

Postage is available Australia wide for store products ONLY

Click & Collect from our address in Golden Grove.

Please allow 24 hours for your order to be ready.

If any of the items in your order are pre order and you have selected shipment, items will be shipped only once ALL items are in stock. If you need anything urgently please make seperate orders or select local click & collect.

Shipping is facilitated via Australia Post. Regular Post is $10 and Express Post is $14. Orders over $100 will receive free standard shipping and orders over $200 will receive free express shipping.

Change of mind refunds WILL NOT be granted. If your item is faulty or damaged we are obliged by consumer law to assist you with refund or replacement.

Please email us with any faults and we can organise a time for you to return the product to us or return postage slip.

Please respect our neighbours and their properties when picking up your items. (no speeding, parking over their driveways). You can park in our driveway if there is space.
